BREAST RECONSTRUCTION CASE STUDY 2 (Stage 1-3):

TISSUE EXPANDER - NIPPLE AREOLAR COMPLEX SPARING

42 year-old with Left breast Ductal Carcinoma. Patient underwent a Left breast nipple-sparing mastectomy. Immediate reconstruction was performed with placement of a Mentor 240cc low height tissue expander and reconstruction of the anterior axillary fold. The Left breast tissue expander was then removed and replaced with a Mentor 350cc high profile silicone gel implant. Also, a Right breast augmentation was performed with a Mentor 250cc smooth round moderate profile for symmetry. A reverse mastopexy of the Left breast was later performed for symmetry with fat transfer to the Left chest wall.
